Samsung Kick starts the 3D TV market with its new launch

It seems that Samsung believes in “The early bird gets the worm “ philosophy , as Amazon.com started selling Samsung’s 46-inch and 55-inch TVs (that are capable of showing 3-D programming) on Thursday.Samsung is the first company to sell 3D TVs in the market. The TV’s are priced at $500 more than the normal  non-3D TV sets.

Why I call Samsung as a early bird here is, that  the 3D Blu-ray discs and 3D channels are yet to released .So,Even if you buy an 3D TV  now , from Samsung you have to wait until this summer ( as 3D blu-ray Discs are expected  then ) .Hence, you have to be satisfied with the 2-D programs till then.

I would recommend you to buy the 3-D TVs  when other players like LG ,Sony enter the market , as the prices would go down ,due to the competitions and more over, you will have more options to choose from. So, “ The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese”.
