
Samsung have surprisingly stepped into the mobile OS sector.Named BADA (meaning ocean in Korean), the new Smartphone operating system seems to be the new base for the future Samsung touch screen mobiles. The operating system has been build upon the Samsung touch WIZ interface.

Samsung has announced the BADA SDK for developers and said that it would pave a new way such that it envisions ‘Smart phone for everyone’.Samsung has promised the Bada to be user-interactive, service-oriented, open and configurable.To improve user interaction, Samsung Bada offers flash, web control, motion sensing, fine-tuned vibration control and face detection.By using temperature,climate,accelerometer sensors context-aware applications can be implemented.

CAPCOM, EA Mobile and Gameloft will create gaming applications for Bada OS.Samsung has promised to improve the gaming experience in Bada.Samsung Bada enables developers to take full advantage of mobile device capabilities to create compelling applications with ease.
Applications can use device functions to make phone calls, send messages, or access the contact list. Also, various service applications can share information such as personal profiles, social relations, schedules, or contents with a simple user confirmation in order to provide services with greater personal relevance and cooperative service extension. The flexibility of the Bada platform makes it applicable to a wide range of devices than any other mobile operating system.

We can see more from samsung Bada in the future although samsung has not announced the first phone to feature the Bada OS. But Samsung is surely gonna put some real fight in the year 2010.Lets wait and watch.
