Yes, you have heard it right!Sony has taken the camera mobile phones to the next level with its new (world's first) 12.25 Mega pixel CMOS sensor (IMX060PQ).According to sony , They have developed three new sensors (5.15, 8.11 and 12.25Mpix).Having been said that it will take time for sony to incorporate this technology into the handsets, it is worth a wait.

It will now be interesting to see the reactions from the sony's rivals(Nokia,LG etc). it would certainly be good for us as a customer if they come out with something more advanced and innovative.
