Bored of those old wallpapers in your phone? want to try something out of the box? then here is the article for you to make yourself a wallpaper for your mobile phone from your favorite photos of any size.In this article we are going to see two methods for making a mobile phone wallpaper . firstly , by using an online service and secondly , by using the freeware ‘Tonethis’ (which I used in my previous post – convert your favorite music into a ringtone.) to do our task.

Let us see it one by one :

creating the wallpaper online :

By this method you can make yourself a wallpaper without downloading any software ,just by using an online photo editing service called as Flauntr . This process is relatively very simple compared to the second method ,even though each method has there own disadvantages . let us see the method step by step :

1. Go to the Flauntr website and select ‘Mobiler’ ( Note : you must be registered in the site to do the following steps ,registration is free)

2. choose your mobile phone model from the right side bar to proceed.

3. If you are going to upload a photo from your computer , select ‘get photos from pc’ or select any of the online photo services located at the bottom of the screen to upload photos from it.

4. you can crop the desired portion of your photo by selecting that portion and then by clicking on the apply button.

5. And there you go, the wallpaper is ready for your mobile phone.download the file to your computer by using the ‘download’ option.
