If you're tired of that old cell phone ring and ready to make yourself a ringtone, This article is a fair starting point for you because , the software with which I am going to deal has the muscle to make ringtones (or the higher-quality true tones), video ringtones, or wallpaper out of files in your collection, and send them to your phone or to a friend . believe it or not , you can do all this in minutes that to without shelling out a single penny ….

Before starting our task , things we need are :

1. A software to do our task , there are loads of softwares available in the market which will cost you some bucks (which you can find by simple googling ). But for this article I am gonna a free ware called Tonethis ,which would be more than enough for our task

2. A music file to convert (obviously).

Making a Ringtone from a Music file :

1. install the free ware (tone this) into your computer and open the software .

2. when you open the software for the first time you will be asked to give your phone details.

3. after giving your details, you will be seeing a window as shown below ..

4. select ' ring tones ' button to proceed

5. Now select ' browse music ' button to select music from your computer

6. select the desired music , after selection you can see some wave form sort of thing on the window

7. Now select the portion of the music (by selecting the wave form as shown below) which you want to convert it into a ring tone ( play to confirm the selection) and then select ' send to phone ' or ' send to friend' option to proceed

8. The selected portion of the music will be croped and will be uploaded to the 'tone this' site.

9 . And the link of the ring tone (uploaded file) will be given to you . use the link to download your ringtone for free.

10. That's it , you have made a ring tone .

Note : The only pull down in this software is the ads . which you can get rid off by upgrading to pro version.
