Wondering , where in the world , Nokia released N97? . yes , you are right Nokia has never released any Nokia 97 yet , But the Chinese Engineers have gone one step ahead (after cloning iphone as Hiphone) by cloning Nokia N97 , a phone that only exists in the rough drawings of a few patents Nokia made a while ago!
Despite being given the name N97,Nokia have never said they're planning on releasing this phone. Indeed, rumours about an N97 model have been around for nearly two years, but although Nokia came close with the recently announced N96, no N97 has ever been released…
This the firsrt time that a non – existing phone has been cloned by chinese ( you know, they have actually given life to the Nokia N97 which has been existing only on papers and rumours). and they have also christened it as CECT K898.
After seeing these pics you can find out why Nokia has not risked itself by releasing this phone.Not exactly attractive is it? It's a slider with a swivelling camera unit seemingly bolted on top of it. Nobody said a clone had to be elegant I guess.
