According to vodafone the 8GB version of iphone 3g will cost Rs. 31,000 , while the 16GB version will cost Rs.36,100 and it will be availabe in india on August 22 .

For those who have pre-registered the iphone 3G , vodafone has requested them to drop in at a select Vodafone Store between August 20 and 21 and confirm their booking by paying Rs 10000 through cash or credit card as a deposit.after this the vodafone will give them an appointment date to collect thier iphone ( with a full demonstration of the phone).
