Googling through SMS

 

Google has made googling pretty easy ,even if you don't have an GPRS enabled phone.you can do this by sending your search terms to google via SMS. What you have to do is to just type your search term and send it to 46645 (which reads as "GOOGL" on your keypad).Remember to enter the digits "46645," not the letters (those letters are just to help you remember the code)

some of the basic search format you can use for an effective results are given below :


Dictionary meanings :
just type define and then the word for which you need a meaning . example – Define Geek

price lookup : Wana know the price of some products, just send a message with the term price followed by the product name.to google(46645). example – price

Translator : To translate a word from english to another language . just type the term Translate followed by the word and then in follwed by the language.
Exaple-translate bat in french

Calculator : you can actualy do a Engineering and geometric problems through this google sms service. see the example – 40 * 800 acres in hectare

Scores and Game schedules : just type the name of the team and send a message to google . google will reply the most recent match scores and uture schedules of the team.


HELP : confused of using these services, don't worry just type HELP from your phone and send it to google to receive a Menu of these services.
