This phone is for them who have lots of Media to play and most importantly in need of more memory space.This phone gives you a good Media experience. so, this for the ultimate Music n Movie lovers.

Design :

Design wise the W980 is a to the core sleek and style mobile .The design is very fashionable. And the catch in the design is the External display for the audio player with soft touch controls.it gives a good look to the phone.The display supports 256K colors with 176 x 176 resolution.the side of the phone lodges a volume/zoom control ,a front screen switcher(switches to a more simpler display and also starts the Fm player) and a front key lock (that locks the front touch sensitive Keys). you can see these keys below.

Keypad:

The phone houses a 2.2 inches display with a good 240 x 32 resolution. The phone holds a light sensor above the keypad (as I said in the thumbs up section) which alters the lighting of Keypad according to the the surrounding light. the phone also has a Accelerometer which allows the screensaver to rotate as the phone is rotated.the key pad is quite comfortable to type.

Features:

The interface of this phone looks really great.The apps in the phone are pretty cool like a 3D world clock,there's a new converter application that even lets you calculate a restaurant tip based on the bill amount as well as the number of diner and a Music Mate 5.

The phone also houses Bluetooth Pc remote software,Preloaded with Sony's playnow for Music.The phone also comes with cool games like Lumines,Need for Speed, and a soduku game. As I said earlier The music ceases if the flap is shut and also The Shake Control can only be used when the flap is open The Built in FM transmiter which lets you to play music through your car's FM player.

The phone does not have an seperate GPS unit but it comes with google Maps with integrated photo tagging feature.

Camera:

The phone comes out with a 3.2 MP camera. with a good photo quality.The location of the lens in the phone makes the photo taking process more wobbly and difficult.and the interface while taking a photo is poor and it only show a small view of what you caputured on the screen( not on a full screen).
