Apple introduced iBooks for iPhone and iPod touch recently. Even though iBooks ( or Stanza or any other eBook reader app for that matter ) supports PDF files , you cannot read a PDF file as comfortably as an ePub file on a small screen of an iPhone or iPod touch .The reason is ,  the font size in a PDF file cannot be increased and therefore , you will be forced to pinch zoom the document and hence you have to scroll it horizontally again and again to read a single line.

The only solution for the problem is to convert your PDF files to the  ePub format. Here are few methods to convert to ePUB format for free:

Nokia unveiled, two of its Xseries mobile today – X5 and X6 8GB.Nokia X5 has a unique look (though  it looked like a half phone, when i saw it first ! ) . The square shape of the mobile makes it highly portable , thanks to its sliding QWERTY keypad.  This mobile is made for the Social networking mavens , with its  support  to all the popular IMs , webmail and Social networking sites.

Nokia released its official walk through videos for N8  on its blog.Seeing the video ,one can easily fall in love with this gadget. The Nokia N8 is a Full touch screen ,12MP phone with HD video recording capability and it  runs on Symbian ^3 .  The price tag of $494 is cheap for the device , considering its specs.

Nokia C7 – Nokia’s first 8 mega pixel full touch screen mobile phone has just leaked on a chinese website . The phone looks pretty similar to the Samsung corby and Motorolla XT800. In the pictures ,we can  see a secondary camera ( I guess it would be a 1.3 MP cam)  on the front side and a 8MP camera on the rear. it also hosts a dual  LED flash and stereo speakers.

The phone has a 3.5 mm headphone jack and it runs on symbian S60 5th edition.if the rumors are to be believed the phone will support 720p video capture and facial recognition too. Here are the pictures of the device.

iPhones and iPod touches are known for their durability . Many drop and scratch tests on the past showed the same. But, it seems that the new iPhone 4 will not be as durable as its predecessors?.

The guys at  iFix your i  tested the durability  of the iPhone 4 with a drop test and the result of it will be quite shocking for the iPhone lovers ( including me ). the result is clearly shown in the pic below (after all a picture is worth a thousand words ! )

Whenever a new version of an iPhone gets released (announced, in this case) , we could see all the other Smartphone manufactures come up with something new to give a tough fight to the iPhone. Now , Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha announced the companies plans on releasing a 2GHz  Smartphone.

The PCWorld states that the phone will run on Android  OS and it will also include a gyroscope and Nvidia Tegra-based graphics processor ( which has the capability of providing  advanced graphics, better battery life and always-on Internet access)  with full Flash 10.1 hardware acceleration.

The announced device will be twice as fast as the present fastest devices , which have 1GHz processor ( like Google Nexus one,HTC EVO etc ).

Apple has made it clear that the iPhone , iPod touch and iPad browsers won’t be supporting Flash (as Apple is shifting to HTML5).Here is an app that could give hard core flash fans ,what apple had denied to them. 

The cloud browse app works around the idea of cloud computing.To put it simple for the folks, who have no idea about what cloud computing is ,it means that when you use this app for browsing, you are actually browsing on a remote computer located some other part of the globe and your iPhone/iPod touch just acts as a display device.  So, as long as the remote computer supports flash , you can browse flash sites on your iPhone.
